One foot in front of the other

It's been a weird few weeks. I've been setting aside huge amounts of time for school work and just not getting shit done. For a variety of reasons I won't go into - some of it's the usual procrastination, some of it's new and kind of scary and causing all kinds of self-doubt.

Two of my new favorite things are not new, only new to me. KCRW radio - LOVE IT. Have been streaming Morning Eclectic and Nocturna daily. A-track and some others are pretty good too, though I haven't checked everything on the station out yet - gotta save something for days to come.

Slashfood is my new favorite blog. Food glorious food.

Tall Guy has been reading this book www.mindlesseating.org - suddenly our portions are reduced and there are chopped veggie snacks ready in the fridge. No complaints from me.

Plowing along on the research project and thesis. Am working on another poster submission. Finally learned enough SPSS to get through an initial analysis (anovas and manovas). Things are challenging, but good.

Watching the second snow of the season fall under the streetlight...
